Happy New Year!

As I've not updated my blog since back in August (!!), I thought I'd put up a quick "Happy New Year" post.

The past few months have been pretty busy, and I've been pretty lazy in not updating the blog with all the fab vegan discoveries we've made. Here are a few highlights, some of which I will hopefully expand upon soon, when we should be a little less busy. I also have a ton of product reviews that I need to write up. (I'm sorry if you've sent me something to review and it's not on the blog yet!)

I will start posting properly again soon!

1. My sister got married! She asked for a red velvet "moon and wolves" cake for the party.

2. I held my last festival stall for the foreseeable future. My business insurance was up for renewal, and taking stock of where I am, it is unfortunately not cost effective or time effective to run the business part time. So I'm closing the doors for now and going back to being a blogger and home baker. This may change in the future!

3. We spent a weekend in London where we visited many vegan delights - including the new Hackney Downs Vegan Market, organised by Fat Gay Vegan!

4. We went on an all-vegan cruise to Norway with Vegan Travel!!

5. We adopted a new kitten (Flóki) who turned up on our doorstep the day we got back from the cruise...

6. Two of our best friends got married. (Not vegan but as a bridesmaid and a best man, it kept us quite busy!)

7. Christmas... Which to be honest, neither of us are bothered about but it still interrupts work / life because you can't avoid it! It was an excuse to make some yummy food, so we can't complain too much.
